Overnight Camping Terms and Conditions

Rates:

RV/Tent site rates are for 1 family, 1 vehicle and 1 camping unit per site (maximum 5 people). Extra charge will apply for extra persons at current rate.

Reservations:

We accept reservations by email, phone or in person. We accept payment in the form of cash, debit card, Visa and MasterCard. If paying by cheque or money order, it must be mailed 30 days in advance for verification. A Visa or MasterCard number will be required at time of booking to hold the site. You may pay the full amount at time of reservation or at check-in. Bookings for persons under the age of 18 will not be accepted.

Cancellations:

If a cancellation is received 3 days prior to the check-in date, no charge will be added to the credit card. If cancellation is not received 3 days prior to check in date, your credit card will be charged the full payment for the nights reserved. Long weekends requires a 7 day cancellation notice.

Refunds:

Refund will only be given if date changes or cancellations are received 3 days prior to check-in date. No refunds for anyone being evicted or for days lost through early departure or late arrival, nor weather conditions.

Arrivals & Departures:

Check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 1:00pm. Please check with office if an earlier check-in or later check-out is desired.

Speed Limit:

The maximum speed limit in the campground is 10km/hr unless otherwise marked. This is a family campground so please be extra cautious as children will be playing and running on the roadways.

Quiet Hours:

11:00pm – 9:00am

Respect your fellow campers. Any activity or any noise, which intrudes on other campers at anytime, is not permitted. Disorderly conduct or offensive and vulgar language is not tolerated anywhere-anytime in the campground. All complaints received will be dealt with promptly. Each overnight guest is responsible for the behaviour of their campsite occupants and guests anywhere in the campground.

Visitors:

Visitors for our overnight guests are welcome and MUST report to office for registration. There is a daily charge for day visiters , they will have to purchase a wristband for entrance into the park.. There will be limitations to the amount of visitors per site and the registered overnight guest is responsible for their visitors. All visitors must leave by 10:30pm.

Pets:

Pets are welcome but must be leashed and under control at all times. Pets are not allowed in any campground buildings or the pool area. Owners are required to pick up droppings left by their pets and if needed, bags will be provided upon request free of charge.
If pets are found wandering, barking incessantly, or otherwise disturbing other Residents, the owner will receive one warning. A second occurrence will result in the pet not being allowed in the park.
Pets that are found to be aggressive to other pets or other guests and that are a danger to the wellbeing of other pets or guests will be asked to remove the pet from the campground. There will be no exception to this rule.

Pool:

No lifeguard on duty. All children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Wristbands are required for all persons in the pool area. Pool hours and rules are posted. Proper swimwear attire required to enter the pool. No glass containers in pool area.

Canteen & Store:

Hours are posted on the entrance door. We carry a variety of groceries and food, drinks and ice.

Garbage Disposal:

Do not leave garbage on sites or in fire pits. Dispose of all garbage in the garbage area provided at entrance. Please do not litter.

Recycling:

Recycling is strongly encouraged and receptacles have been provided around the campground. Please respect the program and only put recyclable products in these receptacles. Accepted items are aluminum cans, glass containers, plastics, cardboard, beer bottles etc. A full listing can be provided at the office.

Dump Station:

Sewage disposal – check at office for particulars.

Trees, Shrubs & Brush:

Trees and the shade they provide are invaluable. The cutting down of any trees or shrubs or clearing of any brush is strictly prohibited. Non compliance may result in your immediate eviction from the campground, and you may be prosecuted for vandalism.

Grounds:

Charcoal fires allowed in BBQ’s only. The alteration of the Grounds at any campsite or anywhere on Rock Garden Property is not allowed.
**ATV’s, motor scooters, motorbikes, or mini-bikes are not to be operated within the campground.**

Firearms:

Firearms, BB guns, pellet guns, firecrackers & fireworks are strictly prohibited. Fireworks will be considered for approval for special occasions with the written authorization from the Management. Anyone setting off fireworks without prior consent is subject to immediate eviction.

Nuisances:

Anyone creating problems for registered guests or management will be required to leave the campground immediately. No refund will be issued for an eviction.

Safety:

Rock Garden Campground, the Management, officers and employees shall not be held liable for injury to persons, including guests and their visiting guests or invites or licensees or for any loss or damage to property for any reason, including but not limited to, fire, theft, accident, or any other cause whatsoever. Parents or chaperones are responsible for their children’s safety and behaviour. Persons under the age of 18 are considered a child/youth and must be accompanied by a parent or adult guest while occupying a site and at no time be left on their own. Rock Garden Campground has a 10:00pm curfew for all children/youth under the age of 16 which means they must be at a designated campsite and under adult supervision.

Policy Violators-Suspicious Persons:

Policy violators or suspicious persons should be reported to management immediately. The Management of Rock Garden Campground reserves the right to enter and inspect campsites at any time. Management may give a permanent eviction of any infractions of this policy.

Assumption of Risks:

ALL GUESTS AND VISITORS USING ROCK GARDEN CAMPGROUND FACILITIES DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. BE AWARE THAT THE RECREATIONAL FACILITIES, PLAYGROUND AND POOL INVOLVES MANY INHERENT RISKS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WEATHER CONDITIONS, EQUIPMENT FAILURE, COLLISION WITH OBJECT OR PERSONS AND FAILURE TO USE FACILITIES IN A SAFE AND PRUDENT MANNER, WITHIN ONES ABILITIES, MAY CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH.
